Referrals passed. Handshakes, nods, encouragement. What started as polite professionalism slowly softened into trust and something rare began to form.

Wednesday mornings turned into text threads. Text threads turned into lunches. Lunches turned into Thirsty Thursdays, where referrals were replaced by laughter and deadlines by deep conversations. Careers grew, yes—but so did families, relationships, and roots. We’ve cheered each other on through promotions, pivots, babies, heartbreaks, health battles, and moments that required more strength than any of us had alone.

We learned each other’s businesses, but more importantly, we learned each other. How to show up when someone is tired. How to speak up when someone needs advocating for. How to sit quietly when there are no words. When to push when comfort becomes a crutch. This group became proof that diversity isn’t a hurdle—it’s pure magic. Different perspectives made us sharper. Different beliefs made us more compassionate.
